About PriceUWant
PriceUWant helps US shoppers pay what a thing is really worth: what it actually sold for, when it usually goes on sale, and which deals are worth your money today.
What you'll find here
- Buying guides for laptops, AI gadgets, collectibles, watches, cars, and every big US holiday, written by hand.
- Real sold prices instead of a store's "was" price, so you can tell a real drop from a made-up one.
- Today's picks: launches, price changes, and sales worth a look on the day, each with its source.
- Price alerts: tell us the price you want and we email you when it gets there.
How we choose
Nobody can pay to be listed. We pick products by reading makers' specifications, launch coverage from established tech and news outlets, published sale data (for example Adobe's holiday forecasts and Consumer Reports), and what items have actually sold for on eBay. Every claim that could go out of date carries a date, and our guides name their sources so you can check them.
Our guides are research, not lab tests. When we haven't used a product ourselves, we don't pretend we have, and we don't invent star ratings or reviews.
How we make money
PriceUWant is free to use and is paid for by affiliate commissions. When you buy through one of our eBay or Amazon links, the store may pay us a small commission. It never changes your price, and it doesn't decide what we recommend: we often point you to the cheaper refurbished or last-year model. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. The full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.
Pictures
Our pictures are free Unsplash photos, credited on the photo credits page, plus a few pictures we made that show the kind of item, not the exact listing. We don't put store prices or brand logos in our pictures.
Corrections
Prices and launch dates change. If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it, usually within a few days.
