Privacy policy

Effective November 3, 2026.

We collect as little as we can. You can use PriceUWant without an account, and we don't run advertising trackers or sell your information.

What we collect

Your email address, only if you give it to us: for a price alert, a saved search, or holiday sale alerts. We use it only to send those alerts.
Contact messages: if you use our contact form, we keep your name, email, and message so we can reply.
One cookie, named ch: if you arrive from one of our social media links, it remembers that for 30 days so the right Amazon tracking ID is used. It holds a short channel name (like "ig") and nothing about you.
Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser, page) to keep the site running and secure.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.

Amazon and eBay. When you follow a link to Amazon or eBay, they may set cookies and collect information on their own sites to credit us with a sale, under their own privacy policies: Amazon privacy notice, eBay privacy notice.
Google Fonts. Our fonts load from Google's servers, which see your IP address when they send them.
Email delivery. Alert emails are sent through an email service provider that handles your address only to deliver them.

Delete a price alert any time on the My watches page.
To have all your data deleted, or to ask what we hold, use the contact form and choose "Privacy request". We answer within 30 days.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

PriceUWant is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
